Easter 2013

 We just got back from a quick Easter weekend up in Northern California with Aaron’s family. It was so great to catch up with everyone and see our sweet nephews. The only bummer was that our brother-in-law could not make it. Yummy food. Cute kids. Bubbles. Tea Parties. Visits with friends. Dancing Easter Bunnies. Egg Dying. Candy.
Fun was had by all.
 Nana picked out cute outfits for all the kids. They looked like little catalog models!
 We call Grant Dapper Dan when he looks all handsome like this!
Sweet Little Lady Paigey!

After we got the kids dressed in their fun outfits we walked to the old courthouse across the street and tried to get pictures of all 4 kids…well…maybe next time!

Then we went back to the house for a tea party!

Nature girl!
 We were able to get a few cute pics with Nana & Papa!
Our tea party was AMAZING! More on this soon!
One of the things that yielded the most fun was an hour of bubble mania while Shannon & I cooked for the tea party! Never underestimate the power of bubbles to entertain children!
I hope you had a fun and relaxing Easter weekend with your family!

The Blog Days of Summer {SANTA CRUZ BABY}

So then we hit the road again to continue the “Month of Traveling Panfi’s” with a short trip to Santa Cruz to spend the weekend with Nana, Auntie Shannon, Uncle Kevin and our sweet nephews Kai and Eli! Our first full day together we checked out Roaring Camp one day for the Day out with Thomas the Train event (an amazing event hosted all over the country that you must check out if you ever get the opportunity). To learn more click on the link above. Thomas was actually at the front of the train and gave us a ride.  There were bounce houses, train tables to play with and a “temporary” tattoo station. It was really well done.

And then the next day we were off to the Boardwalk and the beach! It was fun to be all together and the kids LOVED everything from the rides and games to the waves and sand! Don’t you just love these cute little red-head boys?!

Eli and Grant were not as into the water but they were troopers and had some fun in the sand. Paige is quite the water baby these days so she was in heaven. Kai could not get enough of the waves and water {despite being so cold he was shivering}.  It was so cute to see them jump & splash and laugh & play together. I wish we all lived closer so we could be together more often.

the BLOG days of {SUMMER}

To say this summer has been fun is an understatement…it has been amazing!  We have been all over the West Coast from Washington down to Orange County and lots of stops in between. It seems like one big summer party with celebration, weddings and special birthdays to attend!  All that fun has led to a lot of pictures {thanks in part to my iphone} and very little blogging.  Arrggg! But the good news is that I have projects to explain, recipes to record and travel plans to share! So stay tuned as I attempt to get caught up.  Hope you enjoy this sneak peek of our BLOG days of SUMMER!
…a month of traveling panfi’s, weddings, cousins, best friends, late nights, camping, the fair, a northwest road trip, olympics, napa porch fest with grampy’s band, fun with fifi, the beach, riding the thomas train and so much more…

P.S. If you are following me on Instagram you have seen many of these pictures of our travels this summer! If you are not on Instagram yet you should check it out.  Look at my side bar to the right go grab the AP on your phone or ipad {my username is: everydayVALENTINE}.  It is so fun and often feels like looking at a bunch of miniature blogs! xo
